Herminie Car Show

We participated in the Herminie Car Show on the 14th. We sold traditional foods and baked goods. We had a good crew of helpers. Melissa set up the tent all by herself. The guys set up the table and chairs. This event is always a major fundraiser and promotion of the church, with the help of the GCU we can get a little extra cash to maintain and upgrade our church. I am not aware of the proceeds of this event. Hot food came out of the kitchen and was set up for sale and I got to sit in my chair and watch it all happen. I sat, like a bump on a log, throughout the event. It was nice to be out of the house and participate in the church’s life. These events are always fun and I encourage everyone, workers and nonworkers alike to participate and socialize.
